About Ingrid

Ingrid Abreu Scherer has over 14 years’ experience supporting practitioners and policy makers to increase their impact on wellbeing, including at the What Works Centre for Wellbeing and as research consultant with Nottingham Trent University. She has developed evidence-based resources for charities and researchers including the Global ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Evidence Centre’s evidence review and synthesis methods guide. She advises on economic and social value for local authorities and programmes, most recently Bradford City of Culture 2025. As Head of Innovation at the National Academy for Social Prescribing, she convened 150 practitioners in communities of practice.
